Bugatti Chair

After the ABC rally in 2018 and a trip to the Adirondack museum in up State New York, a trigger for a clean and simple design prompted me to look into the chair Bugatti was photographed sitting in outside his works. Louis Klemantaski had photographed Ettore in what he claimed was his “own design” but more like a refinement of the original Adirondrack chairs of 1890. There is a super article on it written by Frank Van Dalen about its evolution and history on line.

At the start of last year, I started work with Charlie Caffyn Designs to re make the chair Ettore was photographed sitting in, in solid oak. A local fine furniture maker has taken over the  job and produced some stunning summer chairs as pictured below this summer. Please do ask for more information and availability
