Seems an age ago but the Gold Cup at Olton was just last weekend. Tommy drove a fab race after and epic bottom end re work by Ray and Tommy in the machine shop. P4 and an award from the HRDC. VSCC Prescott this weekend just as much fun.

A different kind of racing this weekend for Tula R

A different kind of racing this weekend for Tula Racing. Back to where we all started with @thevscc Cadwell Park.

First race for @tom_waterfield 's 1922 GN Harlequin and a very special outing for the last Bugatti T35B made.

This 1929 T35B, owned and raced by Julia De Baldanza, will be racing for the Williams Trophy, the trophy that was won by William Grover-Williams in 1929 in the first EVER Monaco Grand Prix - a race that this car also competed in! A race for pre-1932 GP cars, is will be a highlight of the weekend, made even more special having this car 9n the gird. We have looked after this car for the last 5 years, running it at multiple race meetings, enjoying 2 trips returning it to Monaco for the Historic Grand Prix.

We can't wait!

Capri Battle Royal in the @hrdc_racing Gerry Marshall Trophy race at @doningtonhistoricfestival!

The boys put on a real show this weekend @doningtonpark, coming through from 17th to finish 4th in the Tula Racing Hertz Capri!

A difficult qualifying saw @tom_waterfield start the race in P17. Over the first stint he managed to carve his way through to 8th before a perfectly timed pitstop, coinciding with a safety car put @benmitchell021 back on track in 5th. Ben then displayed all his skill in defensive driving as he held off a charging Ollie Hancock lap after lap after lap. The lead changed multiple times a lap, with them spending more time door handle to handle than nose to tail, before, with one lap to go, Ben used the traffic to his advantage and gave himself enough room to breathe for the first time in 15 minutes. Taking the flag in P4.

An excellent display of driving by both and a result we are all very proud of! Thank you Julius @hrdc_racing for a fantastic days racing. We are already looking forward to the next one! 🔥🏁

Tula Racing wasn't out last weekend, but the boys were out representing at VSCC Silverstone.

@tom_waterfield was out in Tim Ross' Cooper T43/51, prepared and run beautifully by @dorsetracing, coming 2nd in the pre-66 racing car race. He also snuck in a few laps of testing in Marcus Black's fabulous Mclaren-Oldsmobile M1B.

@louis_mcnair enjoyed showing off his amazing 1921 Katipo GN Special. This car always draws a crowd!

P9 in the Gordon Spice Trophy Final at Goodwood 80

P9 in the Gordon Spice Trophy Final at Goodwood 80th Members' Meeting.

We couldn't have asked for a better result for Tula Racing's first meeting with our Hertz Ford Capri, driven by our Tommy Waterfield.

We qualified P13 in very messy session cut down to only 3 proper laps due to red flags.

In the heat, a good start put us up to 9th before a few mistakes and faster cars out of position, saw us finish back in 13th in a hard fought race. But we had qualified for the final.

The final was chaos. A mini stopped on the grid, boxing us in so we crossed the start line in last. Tommy fought back hard to 14th but was struggling to make more progress before a red flag put a pause on the action. Tommy was thrilled at the chance of another standing start and managed to jump to 9th, where he held his position until another red flag stopped the race early.

We had a very enjoyable weekend and the car didn't miss a beat.
